JONES FAMILY HOLD REUNION
The Jones family reunion was held at the home of Rev. and Mrs. H. B. Jones, Sunday, June 30th, celebrating his 92nd birthday. This event takes place each year on the Sunday following his birthday, June 29th. There was a larger attendance than ever before, 92 being present, among whom were his children, Rev. D. T. The day was spent in pleasant conversation and hearty congratulations. At noon a picnic lunch was served.

Uncle Henry, as he is commonly known throughout the country, is the oldest man in this part of the country and is a very influential character. he has been one of the leading citizens of the community and in his old days he has not failed to have an interest in public affairs. He attends Sunday School and church regularly when his health will permit and when he does not feel able to walk to Sunday School one mile away he hitches Old Belle, his horse, to the buggy and drives. He visits the sick and always manages to do this on Monday, a day that many fail to remember the sick. He is noted for holding funerals and performing marriage ceremonies. He is one of the oldest Masons, belonging to the East Fork Lodge No. 460.

All those present wish him many more happy and useful years.
